When we began working with GOCORE in February 2026, our objective wasn't simply to increase followers - it was to establish a sustainable social media presence across multiple platforms while increasing traffic to their website.
Unlike many gaming brands, GOCORE operates two completely separate social media ecosystems: one dedicated to Counter-Strike 2 and another for Dota 2. Each audience requires different content, trends, messaging and community management, meaning every platform had to be managed independently.
Over the past several months, we've developed content strategies, launched community campaigns, managed daily social media operations, and helped introduce thousands of new people to the GOCORE ecosystem.

Managing one gaming brand is challenging enough. Managing two separate esports communities under one company presents an entirely different challenge.
📱 Since February, STRAVOUS has been responsible for managing GOCORE's presence across:
• X (Twitter)
• Instagram
• TikTok
• YouTube
• Facebook
• Discord
…for both the GOCORE CS2 and GOCORE Dota 2 brands.
Our focus has been on creating consistent content, increasing visibility through organic reach, testing new content formats and continuously analysing platform performance to improve future campaigns.

GOCORE Dota 2 Results:
📊 X (Twitter)
The Dota 2 X account remains one of our weaker-performing platforms, showing only modest growth.
Highlights include:
• More than 22,500 impressions generated between February and June.
• Engagements peaked at 332 in April.
📊 Instagram:
Instagram became one of the strongest-performing platforms.
From February through June we achieved:
• 311,000+ total views
• Over 22,900 interactions
• More than 7,500 likes
• Nearly 3,100 shares
• More than 300 saves
May and June proved especially successful, with several posts reaching significantly larger audiences and generating substantial community interaction.
📊 TikTok:
TikTok delivered the largest organic breakthrough for the Dota account.
One piece of content exploded organically, helping the account reach:
• 107,000 monthly views in April alone (166,300+ overall) 🚀
• 7,000+ likes
Although later months experienced lower reach, as is common with TikTok's algorithm - the viral post significantly increased awareness of the GOCORE Dota brand.
📊 YouTube:
Since taking over the Dota 2 YouTube channel, our content has struggled to reach a wider audience due to algorithm limitations before we took over. Improving performance on the platform remains a key priority.
Key achievements include:
• Increased click-through rate from 5.9% to 13.1%
• Higher impressions throughout the first half of the campaign
• Improved watch time despite fewer uploads
📊 Facebook:
Facebook unexpectedly became one of GOCORE Dota's strongest platforms.
Performance highlights include:
• 135,200+ views during May alone (187,706 overall) 🚀
• 2,926 engagements 🚀
• Almost 1,400 reactions
• 200 shares generated organically
This demonstrated that well-performing content can still achieve significant reach on Facebook when tailored correctly.
GOCORE CS2 Results:
📊 X (Twitter)
The CS2 account experienced rapid visibility growth during the early months.
Highlights include:
• Over 102,000 impressions between February and June.
• 52,703 impressions generated during April alone.
• More than 2,400 engagements across the reporting period.
• Followers increased from 6,887 to 7,232, representing organic audience growth despite normal fluctuations.
📊 Instagram
Instagram steadily developed into an engaged community rather than focusing solely on follower numbers.
Since February the account generated:
• More than 29,000 views
• Over 1,100 interactions
• Nearly 830 likes
• Growing saves and shares month after month
June produced the highest interaction rate despite lower overall reach, indicating stronger audience quality and engagement.
📊 TikTok
The CS2 TikTok account delivered one of our favourite success stories!
The third video uploaded to the account surpassed 55,000 views organically, proving early that the content strategy had strong potential.
Across 3 months, the account accumulated:
• 80,000+ views
• 3,100+ likes
• Strong profile discovery
Unfortunately, the account was later affected by a TikTok shadow ban, preventing normal distribution of new content and making further performance difficult to evaluate. Despite this setback, the early results demonstrated that the content was capable of reaching substantial audiences organically.
📊 YouTube
The CS2 YouTube channel experienced strong growth after February.
Notable achievements include:
• Nearly 48,000 views in March alone (93,000+ overall)
• Watch time increasing from 4.5 hours to over 160 hours.
• Impressions growing from 309 to more than 17,000+ by June.
These results showed that short-form content on YouTube could consistently attract viewers while building a foundation for future growth.
📊 Facebook
Facebook became the strongest-performing platform for the CS2 brand.
Between April and June the page achieved:
• Over 1 million views 🚀 (1.1 million overall)
• More than 96,500 engagements
• 3,600+ reactions
• Hundreds of comments and shares
April alone generated 377,000+ views, with June continuing to produce over 315,000 views, demonstrating sustained organic reach.

📈 Social media wasn't our only focus.
Alongside daily content creation, we also organised multiple promotional campaigns designed to introduce more players to GOCORE's Pick'ems platform.
Using third-party CS2 and Dota 2 X giveaway profiles, we hosted several community giveaways that dramatically increased participation.
Before these campaigns, GOCORE Pick'ems typically attracted between five and ten players.
Following the giveaways, participation regularly exceeded 100+ players, peaking at 120+, introducing a much larger audience to the platform while strengthening engagement across both communities.

👀 Looking Ahead:
GOCORE was one of the very first clients to place their trust in STRAVOUS.
Since February 2026, we've helped establish two separate gaming communities across five major social platforms, generated well over 2 million content views, produced viral content on TikTok, significantly expanded Facebook reach, and helped grow GOCORE's Pick'ems player base through targeted community campaigns.
While social media algorithms constantly change and challenges such as TikTok shadow bans are outside anyone's control, our approach has remained the same: create content that gamers want to engage with, analyse the results, adapt quickly, and keep building.
We're proud of what we've achieved together so far, and we're excited to continue helping GOCORE grow its presence within both the Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 communities. More results to come as we continue to progress!
