HLTV Awards Show 2026 Recap

At the time of writing this article, it has been about a month since we attended the HLTV Awards Show. So, how did it go?

Overall, the event was an incredible experience. The HLTV Awards truly showcased the prestige of Counter-Strike and its global esports scene, a scene that Bence has followed closely for many years. For the occasion, we came fully prepared, dressed in our best suits and dresses, ready to represent STRAVOUS in a professional manner. We even brought along our new NFC business cards, making networking at the event easier and more modern. If you are curious to see how they work, feel free to ask Bence about them.

Our main goal for attending the event was to take STRAVOUS to the next level by building meaningful connections within the industry. The HLTV Awards brought together many professionals from across the esports ecosystem, which made it the perfect opportunity to meet potential partners and collaborators.

Throughout the evening, while enjoying the great atmosphere, drinks, and overall prestige of the event, we had the chance to speak with esports team owners, media representatives, and various industry professionals. These conversations opened the door to several exciting discussions that could potentially lead to collaborations in the future. While no official partnerships have been finalised directly from the event yet, there's still potential for further partnerships and collaborations.

As for the awards themselves, the results did not surprise us too much. In fact, we played a small prediction game beforehand, which can be seen in Bence’s vlog from the event. Fortunately, we managed to predict most of the winners correctly, which made the evening even more entertaining.

To top it all off, we also received some HLTV merchandise, including a hangover kit from the afterparty, a HLTV shot glass, and a stylish turtleneck sweater. All of it was great quality and made for a nice souvenir from the event.

Would we attend the HLTV Awards again? Absolutely. It is an event we would love to return to next year as well. For now, we will see where our journey takes us, but experiences like this continue to motivate us as we grow STRAVOUS.
